The Air Jordan 5 Alternate Bel-Air also known as Ghost Green is reminiscent of the coveted Bel-Air colorway of Michael Jordans fifth signature shoe. Both the original Bel-Air and Alternate Bel-Air are inspired by the Grape Jordan 5 worn by Will Smith on the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air in the 90s. The Alternate Bel-Air flips the decidedly throwback color scheme for a fresh new take. White leather appears on the upper including the toe collar and heel. Vibrant contrasting Ghost Green and red 23 and Jumpman embroidery can be found on the heel of the left and right shoes respectively. Translucent netting dots the mid-panel and tongue. Red Jumpman branding appears on the black neoprene tongue of the left pair and Ghost Green Jumpman detailing appears on black tongue of the right shoe. Both pairs are finished off in purple midsoles with red shark tooth detailing on the forefoot and visible Air in the heel. Release date August 15 2020.
